A walkthrough of Inbox, Timeline, tags, focus, goals, projects, analytics, and the assistant.
Dolce Vita is a daily agenda: Inbox, Timeline, tasks, tags, focus, goals, projects, analytics, and an assistant. This page walks through each part.
The first tab shows what matters today:
If nothing needs you, it says so. If the day is done, it says that too.
The second tab is the day timeline. Time on the left, a vertical rail in the middle, task cards on the right. The rail fills as time passes. Today has a live “now” marker. Filters: All, Pending, Completed, plus tags. Pull down for the month. Open the week when you need a wider view.
Gaps of thirty minutes or more show as breaks, and you can drop a task into them. Empty time stays visible.
A task has a name, icon, color, date, start time, duration, optional all-day, recurrence, reminders, tags, a linked goal, and subtasks. Conflicts show before you save.
Create from Inbox or Timeline with +. Events exist for things you attend rather than finish.
Tags are colored labels on cards, in filters, and in analytics. Manage them as a list (name + color), or start from presets like Health and Work. They make weekly review readable.
Focus is a timer or stopwatch with a large readout, a duration control, and optional breaks. You can attach it to the task you just started. While it runs, the session stays locked. When it ends, you get the minutes. App blocking during a session is a Premium option.
Goals are outcomes: icon, title, percentage, deadline, project counts, and a progress bar. Open one to see projects, next actions, time invested, and (on Premium) a forecast.
Projects sit inside a goal. You get task progress, stats (completed, pending, invested, remaining), and share-of-goal bars. Free accounts get one active goal and two projects per goal. Premium removes the cap.
Pick a period. Free includes daily and weekly; Premium adds monthly, yearly, and custom. You get:
Useful for checking where the week went, not for a status deck.
The assistant tab starts with “What should we do?” and chips like “What’s on today?”, “Add a task tomorrow at 9”, and “Postpone my next task”. Threads show your messages, the assistant replies, and action cards when a tool actually ran.
It edits the same agenda you see on the rail. Free has a daily limit. Premium raises it.
Plan on the timeline. Check Inbox for what is next. Classify with tags. Protect a block with Focus. Aim work with goals and projects. Review in analytics. Use the assistant for quick edits.
