Dolce Vita

Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 September 2026.

These terms govern use of:

  • the Dolce Vita marketing website (this site), and
  • the Dolce Vita mobile apps for iOS and Android and the API behind them.

By using the site or the apps, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.

1. The product

Dolce Vita is a personal daily agenda: inbox, live timeline, tasks and events, tags, goals and projects, focus timer, analytics, and an optional AI assistant that can read and change your agenda when you ask it to.

This website describes the product, publishes articles, and links to the apps. It does not create app accounts or store your agenda.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use the apps. You may sign in with Apple, Google, or email and password where available.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping sign-in details secure. Provide accurate information. Do not share access tokens or accounts.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, attempt to break security, or violate these terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Dolce Vita for unlawful purposes,
  • attempt unauthorized access to other users’ data or our systems,
  • overload, scrape, or disrupt the website or API in a way that harms availability,
  • reverse-engineer the apps beyond what applicable law allows,
  • impersonate Dolce Vita or republish our articles or branding as your own,
  • use the assistant for anything other than your own agenda inside Dolce Vita (it will refuse off-topic use),
  • submit content you do not have the right to store or process.

You own the content you put in your agenda. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the service (including sending it to OpenAI when you use the assistant).

4. AI assistant

The assistant is provided “as available.” It can make mistakes, miss context, or propose poor schedule changes. You remain responsible for reviewing and accepting changes to your agenda.

Quotas and rate limits may apply. Free accounts have stricter lifetime limits; Premium accounts have higher daily limits. Limits can change as the product evolves.

Do not rely on the assistant for medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice.

5. Free tier and Premium

Features may differ between free and Premium accounts. Free includes, among other things, the inbox, live timeline, tasks and events (including a per-item reminder), tags, focus, a cap on goals and projects, one custom reminder, daily and weekly analytics, and stricter assistant quotas. Premium unlocks unlimited goals and projects, deeper analytics ranges, goal forecasts, day review, more custom reminders, automations, export, and higher assistant quotas. The current offer is described on the pricing page and in the apps; details can change.

Subscriptions, when sold, are purchased inside the apps through the App Store or Google Play. This website is not a checkout. Store billing, renewals, and refunds follow Apple’s or Google’s rules.

Free trial (yearly plan only). When Apple or Google offer it, new eligible subscribers to the yearly Premium plan may receive a 3-day free trial. The monthly plan does not include a free trial. During the trial you have full Premium access. When the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically and billing for the yearly price begins, unless you cancel in App Store or Google Play subscription settings before the trial ends. Introductory offers are subject to each store’s eligibility rules. Availability and length can change; the apps show the current offer before you confirm a purchase.

Premium may also be granted manually for testing or support; that does not create a store subscription.

Deleting your Dolce Vita account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel billing in the store.

6. Notifications and device permissions

With your permission we may send push alerts according to your plan and preferences: task and event reminders (available on free), custom reminders, day-review prompts, and incomplete-item follow-ups (the latter tied to Premium features). Local focus-timer alerts also exist. Microphone / speech recognition for voice input and widget access require OS permissions you control. Denying a permission may disable the related feature without ending your account.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Recreated UI previews on this site are illustrations, not the running product.

8. Intellectual property

Dolce Vita’s name, design, apps, API, and site content (except your agenda data and third-party marks) belong to us or our licensors. Store badges and platform marks belong to Apple, Google, or their owners.

9. Disclaimer

The site and apps are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Planning tools and AI output do not guarantee productivity outcomes.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost data (beyond our obligation to delete or export where we offer it), or decisions you make based on rankings, guides, analytics, or assistant suggestions.

Mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence are not excluded where they cannot be waived.

11. Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Termination

You may stop using the apps and sign out at any time. In the Danger zone section of account and settings you can use Clear all data to delete your agenda, tags, goals, projects, reminders, and chat history; that does not delete your account. You can also use Delete account (with double confirmation) to permanently remove your account and personal data. Anonymized purchase records may be retained for aggregate billing tracking. Account deletion does not cancel App Store or Google Play subscriptions; manage billing in the store.

We may terminate or restrict access for breach of these terms or to protect the service.

13. Governing notes

These terms are written for a small independent product. If a court finds a clause unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the date above will change, and continued use after notice means acceptance of the update where allowed by law.
